Visit beautiful St Arnaud nestled in the Nelson Lakes National Park area of the South Island of New Zealand. St Arnaud is only 1.5 hours drive from Nelson City, 1 hour from Blenheim and 45 minutes from Murchison.
While visiting St Arnaud, stay in one of 24 cosy cottages nestled in the heart of the village and 5-10 minutes walk to Lake Rotoiti.
All of the Holiday Cottages, baches and houses are privately owned and fully self contained except for bed linen and towels.
Our Price Rates
A One-night only surcharge of $20.00 applies.
For one night only bookings, payment in full in advance is required
As a general rule, we are unable to take one night bookings over long holiday weekends and school holidays. Please enquire if you wish to have a single night booking over these times.
Tariffs shown in the table are for up to 4 persons.
After that:
Children under 1 year of age $6.00 per night
Children From 1 year to 12 years old are charged $12.00 each per night.
Persons 13 years and older are charged $20.00 each per night.
A deposit of one nights tariff or $100 (which ever is the greater) is required to secure your booking
Cancellation Policy
50% refund on deposit up to 72 hours of booking date
No refund on deposit within 72 hours of booking date
Banking Facilities
St Arnaud Village does not offer any Banking Facilities. There is no ATM Machine.
When coming to stay in the Holiday Cottages please make sure to have sufficient cash or New Zealand cheque to pay for your accommodation. We do not accept Foreign Currency, Travellers Cheques or Credit Cards.
The Nelson Lakes Village Store has full EFTPOS facilities.
All cottages are self-contained except for linen & towels.

Persons renting the Holiday Cottages are responsible for cleaning all facilities in the cottage before departing and for the disposal of their own rubbish on the day of departure.
A commercial cleaning service is available at an extra cost of $80.00 per cottage.
Please notify us at time of booking if you wish to hire linen or make use of the commercial cleaning service.
Laundry
Some cottages do not have washing machines and dryers. The DOC Campground at Kerr Bay has coin operated washing machines and dryers.

Beggside Manor Beggside
Manor is a superb place for a large family or 2 families sharing a weekend or holiday
together. The original
part of the house is comfy and cosy, the new addition almost mirrors the original part of the
house and has been tastefully decorated. Beggside
offers 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have double beds and one also has a single bed in the room. The bunkrooms
have 3 beds in each room. Kids will love these rooms! There are 2
lounges, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms and one full laundry. One kitchen
has a full stove, a microwave & fridge/freezer. The second
kitchen has a microwave, 2 hot plates for cooking and a small fridge. Each lounge
has it’s own log burner fire & TV. There are heaps of books, magazines and games to keep
every one entertained on a wet day. Beggside also
offers 2 bathrooms, one has shower, vanity & toilet and the other has shower over bath,
vanity & toilet. For sunny
days there is a lovely deck between the two lounges where you can relax or dine out. All duvets,

Tree Tops has 4 bedrooms, one with ensuite and queen size bed, another also with a queen size bed, the 3rd has a one set of bunks and one single bed. The 4th room has one set of bunks. One bedroom has ensuite and there is a second bathroom downstairs. Full laundry available and all mod cons in the kitchen and cooking is with gas. Waltzaway Cottage Waltzaway was built in 2004 and is a lovely spacious
cottage with bright cheerful colours and great views of Mt Robert and the St Arnaud Range. The main living area is down stairs with a well
equipped kitchen, good size lounge and dinning area. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and
separate toilet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms both with queen size
beds. The landing area at the top of the stairs is large enough to allow for two single beds. A
cot is also available for babies. Sky TV is available but you need to bring your own
